Gary LaDrido, Founder of Redrock Ventures

Gary LaDrido is an American businessman, entrepreneur, investor, board member and sports-team owner whose career spans investing in energy, the next economy, frontier technologies, media and entertainment. With a track record of building and scaling industry-defining ventures at the intersection of innovation and global opportunity, he drives value creation through strategic capital allocation, rigorous governance, corporate development, data analytics, pattern recognition and decisive, forward-thinking leadership.

He is also the Founder of Kingmaker Inc., an AI Lab and AI Venture Studio that creates AI businesses and gives each one a body: an operator who takes the Chair, or a legacy business made AI-native. Kingmaker is the early-stage counterpart to Redrock Ventures. Both rest on the same belief, that the next great companies will be built where intelligence meets the physical world.

Previously, Mr. LaDrido spent the first 20 years of his career in impact investment banking and is an experienced energy-transition and climate-tech investor and advisor, having executed transactions in excess of $15 billion. Formerly a member of Morgan Stanley's Clean Energy team, he is Founder and Managing Partner of Renewable Advisors and Sustainable Capital Markets, an Advisory Board Member of Generation Food and IMM Investment Global Clean Energy Transition Fund II, and serves as Special Adviser to Roman DBDR Acquisition Corp. II (Nasdaq: DBDR).
